Finland Sticker Visa – Detailed Description

Traveller Details

1. Passport
   • Requires physical passport submission
   • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from Finland.
   • Handwritten passports and passports valid for more than 10 years are not accepted.
2. Photograph
   • Requires physical photo submission
   • Photo dimensions: 35mm x 45mm on matte finish paper with a white background.
   • Face should cover 80%, non-smiling, without glasses or head covering (unless for religious or ethnic reasons).
   • The photo should not be previously used in a visa application.

Travel Details

1. Flight Tickets
   • Copy of confirmed Arrival and Departure tickets is required.
2. Hotel Reservation
   • Copy of confirmed hotel reservation that includes the hotel address, contact number, applicant’s name, and reservation dates for all days of travel.

Financial Details

1. Bank Statement
   • Requires physical submission.
   • Applicant must present their own bank statement or a sponsor’s bank statement if the applicant is sponsored by a blood relative or spouse.
   • The bank statement must cover the last 6 months and should have the bank’s sign and seal.
2. Income Tax Return (ITR)
   • If the applicant is a partner, LLP member, or director, business ITR for the last 3 years is required.
   • For employed applicants, 3 years of ITR or Form 16 is required. For self-employed applicants, 3 years of personal ITR is required.

Occupation Details

1. Employed Applicants
   • A letter from the employer on company letterhead, including the applicant’s name, designation, and the authorized signatory’s signature.
   • Leave Sanction Letter or No Objection Certificate (NOC).
   • Payslips for the last 3 months.
   • Company Appointment Letter if the applicant has recently changed jobs.
2. Self-employed Applicants
   • A cover letter with the business letterhead.
   • Business registration certificate (GST certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, Partnership deed, MOA, etc.).
   • Valid proprietorship proof.
3. Student Applicants
   • A letter from the educational institution stating the applicant’s name, such as a Bonafide certificate, leave letter, or a copy of the student identity card.
4. Retired Applicants
   • Proof of retirement or pension slip for the last 3 months.

Additional Requirements

1. Mandatory Details
   • Applicants must visit the visa application center in person for biometric data.
   • Biometric visit is not required if the applicant has a Schengen visa issued within the last 3 years.
   • All documents must be in English or officially translated.
   • The embassy or consulate may request additional documents or a personal interview on a case-by-case basis.
   • Applications submitted within 15 working days of the travel date will not be accepted.
2. Travel Insurance
   • Travel insurance is mandatory with a minimum coverage of €30,000 or USD 50,000 for health emergencies, treatment, hospitalization, or repatriation.
   • Insurance must cover all Schengen countries and be valid for the entire stay.
   • Insufficient insurance may result in a shorter visa validity.
   • Ensure the insurance is valid and provide proof if required by border authorities.
3. Cover Letter
   • A cover letter stating the applicant’s purpose of visit and personal details, addressing the consulate or embassy as per jurisdiction.
4. Travel Agency Certificate
   • If applicable, a certificate from the travel agency, signed and stamped, or a reservation of accommodation with proof of deposit or cancellation fee payment.

Conditional Requirements

1. Minor Traveling with One Parent
   • Written consent from the other parent or guardian is required.
   • A signed copy of the other parent or guardian’s passport or photo ID is needed.
   • If the minor is under the sole custody or guardianship of one parent, proof is required.
   • NOC from the non-traveling parent if applicable.
2. Minor Traveling Alone
   • Written consent from both parents or legal guardians is required.
   • Signed copies of the parents’ or legal guardians’ passports or photo IDs.
   • NOC from the parents or guardians if applicable.
3. Staying with Friends and Family
   • Original invitation letter (townhall letter) in Finnish language from the inviting person or family.
   • Passport and visa or residence permit of the inviter, along with address proof.
4. Sponsor Documents
   • Sponsorship letter from the sponsor stating the applicant’s details and purpose of the trip.
   • Employment proof of the sponsor.
   • Bank statement of the sponsor.
   • Government ID proof (passport, driving license, PAN card) of the sponsor if the sponsor is from India.
   • If the sponsor is from Finland, provide a passport or driving license copy of the sponsor.
5. Internal Travel
   • If the applicant is traveling internally within the Schengen Area, internal commute proof is required.
6. Marriage Certificate
   • If the spouse’s name is not mentioned on the passport, a marriage certificate is required.
